Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at Lady Reading Hospital is the only department in Public Sector hospitals, in whole Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where Pediatric Cardiac Surgical procedures are performed. Our pediatric cardiac surgery team performs more than 200 heart procedures each year. Working with Pediatric Cardiologist, Pediatric Cardiac Anesthetists, Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care intensivist, and ICU nursing staff, these surgeons provide the pediatric cardiac services for newborns, children, and adolescents. Department is now fully equipped with the latest technology for managing pediatric heart diseases, and our pediatric cardiac surgery team is providing services in an even more advanced environment. We have 6 bedded dedicated pediatric cardiac surgery ward, 2 dedicated operative theaters, 3 bedded dedicated pediatric cardiac surgery intensive care unit with the trained nursing staff.
